5E took action when we surveyed our class to find out which leaders in each genre were our favorite leaders. After collecting the data, we organized the data, analyzed it, and displayed the data in tables and pie charts, which included percentages. This enabled each group to make interpretations of the data. Please read our analysis and reflect on the class blog about the interpretations we made about the results.
Religious Leaders
Tech/Scientist Leaders
Political Leaders

Our group (Simon, Shayer and Kaveesh) we interpreted the Religious Group of leaders. Here is our Interpretation. The most popular religious leader was Jesus of Nazareth with 38.9% of the votes. We think this because most kids in this class are Christians. The second most popular religious leader was Lord Buddha with 22.2% of the votes. We think this because he was the enlightenment one and 2 Buddhist in this class. Mother Teresa and Prophet Mohammed are tied with 16.7% each. We think this because Mother Teresa and Prophet Mohammed are more popular toward Asia and we live in Dhaka. Last Dalai Lama was the least popular with 5.6% of the peoples vote.

Our group collected the data of the Adventurers of the World. We think that most people voted for Amelia Earhart and The Wright Brothers because people enjoy flying by air. Almost everyone in our class has come to Dhaka by airplane, and gone somewhere else by air. A lot of people also voted for The Wright Brothers because they invented the airplane and Amelia was the first woman to fly a airplane.

We analyzed the athletes data. 31% of our class voted Sachin Tendulkar as their favorite athlete, which shows that many students watch cricket. From our data we figured out that Hormswoggle and Babe Ruth were not very popular because they are not famous in South-East Asia and they only got 13% each. Also a lot of people like tennis and soccer, David Beckham (soccer) got 19% of the votes, and Roger Federer (tennis) got 25% because soccer and tennis is shown on TV everyday.

Our group analysed Political leaders. The most favorite leader was Gandhi (31.6 percent of the graph) because Bangladesh is near India so his influence has spread farther and now it has reached here and we are also watching a movie about Gandhi in Host Cultural Studies so most people voted for him.

Our group analyzed the favorite Tech/Scientist of 5E. We think that Albert Einstein recieved the most votes (45%) because he discovered the Theory of Relativity, E=mc2. The E is for energy, M is mass, and C is for the speed of light, thus energy equals the amount of mass multiplied by the speed of light squared which is a very big discovery in history of world wide science. We also think that our class, 5E, voted for Bill Gates because (22%) he was the one who created the company apple which is world wide now and we use computers, ipods, ipads… made by the apple company in our daily lives.
